Shower Tile Installation

When grout cracks or a tile comes loose, the real problem usually sits behind the wall. A shower that was never waterproofed lets water seep past the tile, soak the backer, and rot the framing. New tile over a bad base just hides the leak for another year. We do it the other way. We tear out the old surface, build a proper waterproof system, slope the pan to the drain, and seal the corners before any tile goes back up.

Then comes the layout. We snap lines so the courses run level and the cuts land where the eye expects them, and we keep the grout joints tight and even from floor to ceiling. The result is a shower that looks right and stays watertight. When the project goes beyond the shower, our custom tile shower and tub-surround tile work cover the rest of the bath.
