Epoxy Garage Floor Coating
Tough, easy-clean epoxy garage floors that resist hot tires, oil, and stains for years.
A bare garage slab sheds dust, soaks up oil, and stains the first time something spills. GM Tile Designs installs epoxy garage floor coatings in The Woodlands, TX that seal the slab in a hard, glossy surface you can wipe clean and park on with confidence. Skilled craftsmen are on every job, the prep is done right so the coating bonds for good, and the estimate is in writing before we start.
What's Included
Resists hot tires and oil
A garage-grade coating that shrugs off hot tires, oil drips, road salt, and dropped tools, and wipes clean with a mop.
Grind-and-prep done right
We mechanically grind the slab, repair cracks and pits, and let the coats cure fully. Skip that prep and epoxy peels. We do not skip it.
Color flake and finish options
Solid colors or decorative flake blends under a clear topcoat, so the floor looks finished and hides everyday wear.
Done in about two days
Most garage floors are coated in a couple of days by our family-owned company, fully insured, with a written estimate up front.
Why coat your garage slab
A bare concrete garage floor looks fine until life happens. It powders into dust that tracks into the house, drinks up oil and brake fluid into permanent stains, and cracks at every weak spot. An epoxy garage floor coating ends all of that. It seals the slab in a hard, non-porous surface that resists chemicals, hot tires, and impacts, and it turns a dim gray garage into a bright, finished room you actually want to use.
Epoxy coatings are one of our fastest-growing services, and it is easy to see why. In about two days we take a dusty slab and hand back a floor you can park on, work on, and keep clean with a mop. For homeowners across The Woodlands fixing up the garage, it is one of the highest-value upgrades per dollar. It pairs naturally with the rest of our concrete and driveway work, so many people coat the garage when we pour a new driveway or patio.
The coating is only as good as the prep, though. A floor that peels was almost always rolled onto a slab that was never ground or cleaned right. We mechanically grind the concrete to open the surface, repair cracks and pits, treat oil-stained spots, and let each coat cure fully before the next. That is the step fly-by-night crews skip, and it is the reason ours bonds and stays down.
The GM Tile Designs garage floor process
You call and reach the family that stands behind the work. We come look at your slab, check its condition and moisture, and talk through solid colors versus decorative flake and the right topcoat for how you use the garage. You get a written estimate with the full scope, so there are no surprises.
From there we grind, repair, and prep the slab, then lay the base coat, broadcast color flake if you chose it, and seal it with a clear topcoat. We are fully insured, skilled craftsmen are on site, and we leave the garage clean. Most floors are walk-ready within a day and back to full use, including parking, after the cure, typically a couple of days total, and we give you the exact timeline up front.
Uriel Gutierrez leads every job, backed by their father and founder Ulises's decades in the trade, so we treat your garage like it is our own shop. If you want the same tough finish on interior or shop slabs too, see our epoxy floor coatings, and if you are upgrading the driveway, look at our concrete driveway installation. We coat garages across The Woodlands and into Memorial with one crew and one written estimate.
